AC⚡DC, the iconic Australian rock band, was formed in 1973 by the talented Young Brothers: rhythm guitarist Malcolm and lead guitarist Angus. Their electrifying music earned them a well-deserved spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
AC⚡DC went through some lineup changes before making their debut with "High Voltage" in 1975. With the release of "Let There Be Rock" in 1977, their membership stabilized, featuring the Young brothers, Bon Scott on lead vocals, Cliff Williams on bass, and Phil Rudd on drums. Tragically, Scott passed away in 1980, but the band continued with new frontman Brian Johnson and dedicated the monumental "Back in Black" album to Scott's memory.
Their music reached its peak with "For Those About to Rock" in 1981, and despite some drummer changes, they continued to rock the charts. AC⚡DC's enduring influence and commercial success make them one of rock's greatest legends.
