Beyond The Beatles - For Bass

After the split, each Beatle went on to have his own successful solo career, though they never reached the critical and commercial heights that they had achieved as a group. Each of them put out a debut solo album in 1970 and beyond. Here's what each Beatle did after the breakup.

Paul became one of the biggest musical acts of the 1970s and has remained a prolific and popular songwriter throughout his career. Since The Beatles, he has released 26 studio records, with 22 number one hits that have included prominent collaborators such as Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and Rihanna.

John released his most critically and commercially successful record in 1971.
"Imagine" debuted at number one worldwide, with George Harrison contributing guitars to the album. In 1980, John returned to music after years focusing on his family, and recorded his last album "Double Fantasy". Tragically, he was murdered 3 weeks later.

George's first solo album, "All Things Must Pass", features several songs that were presented in the "Get Back" documentary, however, the songs he proposed weren't further developed by the band. These songs were eventually used for his debut triple album. A critically acclaimed work that produced his most successful hit single, "My Sweet Lord". After releasing several best-selling singles and albums as a solo performer, in 1988, he co-founded the platinum-selling supergroup the Traveling Wilburys. George died in November 2001.

Ringo's first solo endeavor in a world without The Beatles was a cover album of pre-rock'n'roll standards called Sentimental Journey. George wrote songs with Ringo that would go on to be his greatest hits, including "It Don't Come Easy" and "Photograph."

This book features 13 hits with the bass lines of Paul McCartney, Klaus Voorman, and Tony Levin. Notation& TAB.
