The Blues-rock group Tedeschi Trucks Band is led by husband and wife guitarists Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks. They are road warriors who often play more than 200 dates a year. Their 2011 Grammy-winning debut album Revelator, showcases a sound deeply rooted in southern music genres, which incorporates blues, rock, jazz, soul, gospel, funk, and country.
Guitarist Derek Trucks, in addition to his own group, was a longstanding member of the Allman Brothers Band.
