Legendary bass player, Tony Levin is known for his distinctive style, characterized by his use of the Chapman Stick, as well as his work with bands like King Crimson, and Peter Gabriel.
A prolific session musician since the early 1970s, Levin has played on over 500 albums. Some notable sessions include work with John Lennon, Stevie Nicks, Pink Floyd, Paul Simon, Lou Reed, and David Bowie, among many others.
Levin helped to popularize the Chapman Stick and the NS upright bass. He also created "funk fingers", a unique accessory that further expanded the sonic possibilities of bass playing.
